Our current integration with ShipStation requires use of the DHL Express carrier in ShipStation.
DHL shipment preparation is available through ShipStation using your export or import number provided to you by OptimalShip. Your DHL shipping rates will not appear within ShipStation. In order to check your rates prior to shipping with DHL, please use the OptimalShip quote tool found here: OptimalShip Quote Tool
If prompted for a site ID and password, you will need to register for these credentials through DHL XML Services which can be found at https://xmlportal.dhl.com/register. DHL will typically send you these credentials within 1-2 days.
On the Welcome screen section, click on Set up a carrier.
Select DHL Express and click Connect.
Add your OptimalShip Account Number (DHL export or import number) and add an Account Nickname. Click Connect.
Setup is complete. You will now be able to generate shipping labels and track your shipments through ShipStation. As you prepare your shipment, ShipStation will try to pull rates for the shipment. You should not see any rates in ShipStation (see below). To confirm your shipment rate, please go to the OptimalShip Quote Tool.
